MST Therapist - Central Youth and Family Services (CYFS) a branch of Therapeutic Health Services is seeking an individual with mental health clinical training and experience for their Seattle Multisystemic Therapy (MST) team. MST is a well-researched community-based treatment model directed at youth involved in criminal activity and their families. Duties include assessment, treatment, and collaboration with families, youth, and community agency staff. Therapist will function as part of an MST team and will participate in weekly team supervision and consultation. Orientation/training in the Multisystemic Therapy model will be provided. Must be available to provide periodic on-call 24-hour coverage. Specific experience in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy and behaviorally-based treatments preferred. MA in a mental health field preferred; BA with extensive experience will be considered.

MH Counselor (MHP level) - Central Youth and Family Services (CYFS) a branch of Therapeutic Health Services is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and committed counselor to join our expanding team. Counselor will be working in schools or other community based settings providing assessment, individual, family and group counseling, case management, and advocacy services to a caseload of children, youth and families as part of a diverse clinical team. MHP required. Persons of color encouraged to apply. Minimum two years experience clinical work with African-American children, youth and families, and other diverse populations required. Family counseling experience preferred. Knowledge of KC Medicaid system and managed care procedures helpful.

CD Professional/CDP Trainee - Central Youth and Family Services (CYFS), a branch of Therapeutic Health Services is a progressive, non-profit organization seeking a chemical dependency professional (or experienced trainee) with a passion for working with young people to assist in building innovative programming for our multicultural population of youth and young adults. Must be willing to incorporate evidence-based practices in treatment activities and be open to learning new/individualized ways of providing treatment. Experience addressing co-occurring mental health issues is also a plus.

Clinic Branch Manager - Bellevue, WA.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops, manages and organizes the program and services of a substance abuse or mental health treatment center of Therapeutic Health Services; ensures that services are provided consistent with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and with THS policies and procedures; ensures quality of services; participates in planning and managing the branch budget; ensures community case-finding and program consultation to other community agencies; participates as a member of the THS Management Team; does related work as required.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: The Branch Manager is selected and hired by the Executive Director. The Branch Manager supervises administrative and supervisory staff. The Branch Manager reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer.

EXAMPLES OF WORK:

Administration and Management

  1. With the Management Team, develops an annual plan for Branch objectives, activities and projects such as facilities projects, training (including IT and data skills), quality improvement, clinical innovations, program development; ensures implementation of plan and regularly reports progress and concerns to COO.
  2. With the COO and THS Management and Finance Team, develops an annual financial plan and budget; provides oversight of revenues and expenses to meet or exceed plan.
  3. Ensures branch compliance with federal, state and local laws, regulations, contracts and standards by regularly reviewing clinical and administrative records and ensuring regular review of clinical records by qualified clinical staff.
  4. Ensures that branch staff and manuals are kept up-to-date with changes in personnel, administration and treatment laws, regulations and standards, and THS policies and procedures; interprets and ensures consistent application of standards, policies and procedures.
  5. Ensures the security and maintenance of the physical facility, consistent with applicable laws and regulations, to enable the delivery of safe, confidential services.
  6. Ensures completion of all required service and administrative reports.
  7. As a member of the THS Management Team, develops policies, procedures, and programs affecting multiple departments at THS.
  8. Collaborates with the Chief Medical Administrator (CMA) and the Data Manager.
  9. Participates in the implementation of the organization’s mission and goals
  10. Is responsible and accountable for maintaining a balanced budget and keeping the branch in a fiscally positive position throughout the year.

Clinical Management

  1. Oversees the provision of direct services at the branch; ensures that clinical records are regularly reviewed for appropriateness and quality by qualified clinical staff; coordinates feedback to supervisors on quality improvement.
  2. Ensures that supervisors and direct service staff have access to case consultation and to current information on referral agencies and providers.
  3. Identifies gaps in services and, with supervisors, initiates program enhancements to address un-met needs.
  4. Identifies staff training needs; plans for and coordinates delivery of needed training (i.e. data entry, technology skills, etc.).

Human Resources

  1. Oversees the recruitment, selection, assignment, promotion, transfer, termination, evaluation and salary administration for all branch staff, ensuring consistency with THS policies and procedures and compliance with applicable law and regulation.
  2. Ensures that staffing is appropriate in number and qualifications to carry out the activities of the branch and to meet objectives for service delivery and fiscal soundness.
  3. Provides leadership for the supervisory staff, including providing direction in quality improvement and application of laws, regulations, standards, policies and procedures; provides regular performance feedback, including annual written performance evaluations; develops annual written training plan, including resources; monitors compliance with appropriate direct service staff certification, licensure and registration requirements.
  4. Collaborates with the Human Resources to ensure that personnel files for all staff are up-to-date and in compliance with all applicable law s and regulations.

Minimum Required Training and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or Human Services, plus six years experience in administration in a services environment, including three years as a supervisor responsible for hiring and performance evaluation.
  2. Two additional years of administrative experience may substitute for every year of formal education. At least half of the substituted experience must have been in a Washington State certified chemical dependency provider agency or a Master’s Degree in Administration plus four years experience in administration in a service environment, including two years as a supervisor responsible for hiring and performance evaluation.
